UNITY PORTLAND PAGES ANNOUNCES ‘ADVERTISE FOR A CAUSE

AND A 1.6 MILLION AD GRANT FOR PORTLAND METRO CHARITIES

Provides Free Ad Space to Non-Profits Plus 10% Donation for Paid Referrals

PORTLAND, OR (April 6, 2010) – Unity Portland Pages, a niche-based, web and print business directory, and resource guide has announced ‘Advertise for a Cause’, which will provide over 200 Portland Metro area non-profits free advertising with Unity Portland Pages and Portlandunity.com.  Additionally, Unity will donate 10% of paid referral advertising fees to the non-profit organization.

Unity is offering free advertising space to local non-profit organizations. In return, the non-profit organization sends out a letter to its business members and supporters recommending Unity as a means to advertise their business at a 15% discount off Unity’s normal rates.  For every paid advertisement Unity gets as a result, Unity will then donate 10% of the revenue back to the non-profit organization.

“It’s a win-win for everyone,” stated Tom LaVoie, Unity’s Publisher. “The program allows us not only to extend free advertising space to worthy, non-profits organizations that serve our community, but we can then donate money back to the organization. Furthermore, the paid advertisers get a significant price break for participating in the program. Everyone comes out ahead.”  Unity Portland Pages is committed to building community one Business, Organization and Customer at a time.
